Although CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has not yet specified the date for the release of the NEET 2017 Application Form but it is being speculated that the forms will be released before January 10. Usually, the forms are available by the third week of December. No official from the board has yet commented on the delay. However, it seems that the delay in the form fill up will not have any effect on the examination. In all possibilities, NEET 2017 will be conducted on May 7, 2017.
Once the NEET exams are conducted and the results are published, the students who have made it through the cut off will have to go from a counseling. In the online scheme of All India Quota for UG counseling for seat allotment, aspirants have to log in mcc.nic.in. After submitting their choices they can view the indicative seat allotment, modify and lock.
Post which the first round of the seat allotment would be done. If your name is present in the allotment you have to report to the allotted institute. Once selected, the admission process will be completed after that.
In case an aspirants name is absent in the first round, there shall be a display of newly added or vacant seats. Fresh choices submission is mandatory. Vacancies are available after conversion of Vacant Seats in category or subcategory and up gradation of previously allotted seats with newly offered seats.
There is also a provision to exercise fresh choices, view, modify and locking them. For the 2nd round, aspirants have to report to the allotted institutes.
